Diabetes Mellitus (DM) is a debilitating disorder, known to mankind since a long time (3500 years).

What is diabetes?
Diabetes is a disorder of the carbohydrate Metabolism.
Sugars in our body are not utilized to produce energy.
DMis due to lack of pancreatic hormone “Insulin” – the ‘key’ to open the “lock” of receptors in the cells to receive Glucose from the food we eat.
Due to various reasons, when pancreas reduces or stops supply, entry of glucose energy into body cell is hampered.

Gymnema Sylvestris: Meshasringi/Gudmar.
(Sirukurinjan – Tamil) – Efficacy in controlling sugar was established in 1920 itself. It acts in a natural way – slowly but steadily.
