Awareness: Do not disregard diabetes. Do not give up as “fate”. If the onset of diabetes is from birth, then insulin, medicines are mandatory. If it occurs in the middle age and detected early, diabetes can be controlled with exercise, diet regimen with less or no medicine. When sugar level increases and insulin only is the option, do not lose heart. Develop a positive attitude and consider that taking insulin is not that difficult.

            Give up smoking and drinking.Get to know about diabetes and keep under control the blood sugar level. Try to lead a calm and serene life. Avoid stress, tension, depression, frustration and worries – Do meditation, yoga and exercise. Keep improving your awareness of diabetes. Taking suitable action with full knowledge of the disease will help in keeping sugar level under check. Your efforts will bear fruit.
